What is
CRIME SOLVERS?
Page
County Crime Solvers, Inc. is a community oriented program involving
citizens, businesses, the media and law enforcement in Page County - all
working together to reduce crime.
Crime Solvers
was started in Page County in 1989 and has been instrumental in clearing
criminal cases that otherwise would have gone unsolved, or at the very
least, been very difficult to solve.
How does CRIME SOLVERS work?
The reason Crime Solvers is
successful is the anonymity of all calls. Anyone with knowledge of a
crime may call the CRIME SOLVERS
HOTLINE – 743-3272 to provide information that may be useful in
solving a crime. Callers are given a code number that will be the only
form of identification that will be used. You remain anonymous the
entire time and do not have to testify in court.
If the tip results in the arrest of
a suspect, apprehension of a wanted fugitive, recovery of stolen items
or seizure of illegal drugs, you may be eligible for a cash reward up to
$1000. The rewards are pre-determined by the Crime Solvers Board
according to the type and severity of the crime.
You would then call the HOTLINE
again, give them your number and arrangements would be made to give you
your reward.
Where does the reward money come
from?
PAGE COUNTY CRIME SOLVERS is a
non-profit organization which relies on donations and fundraising to
provide rewards. CRIME SOLVERS depends on you for the funds to carry out
its important mission.
