Contacting an Inmate

To send written correspondence to an inmate at the Page County Jail, please address it as follows:

Inmates are allowed to make collect phone calls from 6AM-11PM EST. All calls made by inmates are collect.

Please contact Pay-Tel Communications by calling 1-800-729-8355 if you are having problems receiving telephone calls from an inmate.

Sending Money

Inmates are allowed to establish financial accounts at the jail that can be used to purchase personal and snack items from the inmate canteen. Any monies sent to inmates must be in the form of cash or money order. Canteen Deposits (Cash or Money Orders ONLY ) 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Visiting an Inmate

Visitations Guidelines and Procedures:

  • Visitation will be held on Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

  • Each person wanting to visit will be required to sign-up in person at the jail or by telephoning (540) 743-1236 between the hours of 7:00 AM through 12:00 Noon on Saturday.

  • Any person that does not arrive on time for their scheduled visit will lose their privilege to visit for that day and shall be required to sign-up in person for any future visits.

  • Any inmate that wants to send items from their personal property out with a visitor may request, between 7:00 AM and 12:00 Noon on Saturdays, to have it pulled and placed in booking.

  • All handbags and book bags are to be left in the vehicle. There are to be no tobacco products of any kind brought into the jail. Tobacco use is strictly prohibited around the general area outside the jail. Anyone caught in violation will have their visit terminated and be asked to leave.

  • General Population inmates will be scheduled for a 15 minute Non-Contact visit through the glass. Work Release and Work Detail inmates will be scheduled for a 15 minute Contact Visit in the Booking Area. Trustees will be scheduled for a 30 minute Contact Visit in the Booking Area. Parents/Guardians of small children shall be responsible for ensuring they act in a respectable manner. Parents/Guardians shall have their visit terminated if they are unable to control the children they bring.

  • Anyone caught interacting with an inmate before or after the visit in any manner, will be asked to leave and will have their privilege to visit terminated
